JDC

Jeju Free International City Development Center(JDC) was established in May 2002 under the ‘Special Act on the Establishment of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Development of Free International City’.

As a national public corporation under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, JDC serves as a bridge between the central government and Jeju Island, and is currently carrying out projects in various fields, such as tourism, education, medical care, and advanced science, to become the frontier of developing Jeju as a Free International City.

Projects such as Jeju Global Education City, Health Care Town, Jeju Myths and History Theme Park, the Aerospace Museum, Jeju Science Park, portrays how JDC aims to develop Jeju as an International City. To achieve the goal internally, JDC also worked on offering legal and external support for start-up companies in Jeju and starting academic courses to promote the internationalization of Jeju citizens.

To coexist and support the local community, JDC also contributes in various social activities such as offering assistance for impoverished citizens and supporting youth employment and start-ups.
